I received an opened box without the gel but customer service were nice and sent it to us not long after. Super easy to use, my husband and I really enjoy listening to our baby’s heart at home! Overall if your looking at dopplers for the few dollars more, I'd recommend this one for sure.
I got about six different sessions with that tube before needing another one. The downside is the gel included is only a small 60ml tube. Just attach the end to the unit and power on. The reason I like the digital screen is for the very simple fact that not all of us are professionals at this and when you can't find the heartbeat-there's a bit of panic! This one shows you on the digital display In numbers the heartbest per minute so your not second guessing if it was a heartbeat or not. I'd compare this to the one that they use at my ob office, I fact it's actually nicer! This one has the digital screen as well.
